Ah! Alcest "Souvenirs dun autre monde", je dois dire que j'ai flashé sur la pochette de cet album et ce titre un peu hippie, un peu bande dessinée. Et à l'écoute c'est la sensation étrange et envoutante de rentrer dans un autre univers!

Alcest c'est un projet solo d'un artiste issu du black métal, agé d'une vingtaine d'année.

Attention, c'est un black atmosphérique, très étrange. Je trouve son travail vraiment original, il mérite d'être soutenu.

Ah! Alcest "Souvenirs dun autre monde", "Memories from another world", I have to say that I was impressed by the sleeve of this album and this title a bit hippie, a bit of comics strip.

And with listening it is the strange feeling and bewitching to search of another univers!

Alcest is a solo project of an artist coming from the black metal, he is about 20 years old. Attention, it is an atmospheric black, very strange. I find his work really original.

The Amber Light

Après des semaines de vacances au ski, de grippe et de courses à rattrapper le temps perdu "qui ne se rattrappe jamais plus "antisocial Trust"", je me relance pour tenir à jour ce petit blog.

Alors pour commencer, j'ai trouvé ce groupe, je crois allemand, The Amber Light dans Goodbye To Dusk Farewell To Down et je le dis, c'est très très beau.

C'est du rock progressif style Pink Floyd, ELP, Marillion. C'est très inventif et frais.

Mélangeant beaucoup de différents éléments, ces types créent une atmosphére artistique avec des mélodies rêveuses et d'étranges bruits.

Ce disque me rappelle simplement l'impression que j'ai eu en découvrant Sigur Rós et Radiohead
avec Kid A.

It is time to start again to write in my small blog.
In first, I found this group, I believe from Germany, The Amber Light in Goodbye To Dusk Farewell To Down and I have to say it is very, very beautiful. It is progressive in style of Pink Floyd, ELP, Marillion. They is very inventive and fresh. Mixing many various elements, these guys create an artistic atmosphére with dreaming melodies and strange noises. This disc points out simply the impression to me that I had by discovering Sigur Rós and Radiohead with Kid A. If you like it, buy it

Alex Delivery: "Star Destroyer"

Noël! C’est le moment des célébrations et de l'amour fraternel n’est ce pas?
Si contrairement à certains, en confirmant ainsi certaines statistiques qui prouvent que la dépression est à son point culminant pendant cette période de fête, tu glisses dans la tristesse de l’été indien finissant.
Et si tu es seul, tout en bas, observant la chute de neige et se sentant malheureux dans le froid, comme un dernier survivant, tu peux enfin avoir une bande sonore pour alimenter ta mélancolie.
Dans la dernière livraison d'Alex : "Star destroyer", un mélange original avec un faux air de Noël mais dans un modèle régénérateur.
Imagine Sigur ROS passant par la cheminée en chantant en anglais après avoir avalé une coupe de Tequilas mélangée au Champagne... unique et désespérément beau...

Christmas is a time of jolly lolly celebrations & love isn't it?
Well, not to some as certain statistics have shown that depression is an all-time high during this festive period. And if yer getting all down & lonely watching the snow fall & feeling miserable at the cold weather & all, you might as well have a soundtrack to feed your melancholy.

In comes Alex Delivery: "Star Destroyer" album, featuring a mix of originals as well as some familiar Christmas tunes but done in a refreshing style.

Imagine Sigur Ros comin' over yer place by the fireplace singing in English after downing a couple of Tequilas mixed with french Champagne...utterly & hopelessly beautiful...

PINK FLOYD More

J'ai écouté au casque ce disque en allant au travail ce matin. C'est une atmosphère étrange qui m'a replongée dans mon adolescence. J'ai revu ce que je voulais être à cette époque, mes aspirations, mes convictions. Le film qui accompagnait ce disque ou l'inverse, parle de l'amour impossible, de l'abandon et du gachis des vies inutiles. C'est très triste mais aussi poêtique et bourré d'images qui m'ont inspirées largement dans ma vie. J'étais amoureux de l'actrice blonde qui jouait dans ce film. J'aime toujours ce disque tant d'années après!

I listened to with the helmet this disc while going to work this morning. It is a strange atmosphere which guided me in my teenage time. I re-examined what I wanted to be at that time, my aspirations, my convictions. The film which accompanied this disc or the inverse, speaks about the impossible love, the abandonment and the waste of the useless lives. It very sad but also poetic and is stuffed images which inspired to me largely in my life. I was in love with the fair actress who played in this film. I always like this disc so much years afterwards!
