JEREMY JAY Slow Dance

Last year saw the release of 2 EPs and a full length. We are barely into 2009 and he has yet another full length, titled Slow Dance, out on K Records. Jeremy's vintage inspired rock n roll may not be anything new, his lyrics aren't the most inspiring and most of the time it sounds like he's using a karaoke microphone. However, Jeremy pulls off some of the coolest sounding music around. The distant and echoed "karaoke" sound turns into into a remote vision that is one part cinema and one part daydream.
Jeremy Jay is an artist and not a real singer. Following a series of 7" singles, he released his debut LP, A Place Where We Could Go on K in Spring 2008 to rave reviews.Currently, he splits his time between living in Paris and Los Angeles, the dream cities of the French New Wave and Hollywood. Similar to films, Jeremy identifies with the visual stories of life and love, and touches on everything human; he is always in the process of writing and recording, playing the guitar and taking long walks. Jeremy is getting acquainted to living in Paris, but still draws much of his inspiration from the films of iconic American teen auteur John Hughes. With his new single "Love Everlasting" and full-length Slow Dance (both released by K), Jeremy has created his own brand of urgent pop music that fits perfect in the house parties and punk rock clubs that he prefers to play. In 2009 Jeremy will be touring Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and the UK so you have to go oh yes!
