C'est un tableau que ma fille Alix a vu à New-York à une exposition, elle m'a ramené une carte postale, c'était super gentil.

J'ai décidé de faire ce petit exercice de style et de clin d'oeil spécial Gauguin. J'aime ce peintre pour ses délires de paradis perdu et de recherche mystique dans l'abandon des sens. Je ne suis pas un spécialiste de Gauguin mais je crois qu'il recherchait une forme d'innocence.

It is a painting which my Alix daughter saw in New York during an exhibition, she brought back a postcard for me, it was super nice. I decided to make this small exercise of style and special wink with this Gauguin. I like very much this painter for its delirious search of lost paradise and mystical research . I am not a specialist in Gauguin but I believe that it was searching for a sort of innocence.

L'autoroute pour NANTES

Nous étions partis pour un petit break vers la Bretagne. Il pleuvait sur l'autoroute ma femme et mes enfants dormaient. Les essuies glaces fonctionnaient au ralentis, j'écoutais le dernier album des Editors. J'étais serein et mélancolique en pensant au temps qui défile au rythme des gouttes de pluie.
