RAIN ON NYC
C’est un des prochains tableaux sur lequel je travaille. Il s’appelle RAIN ON NYC. Dans la rue, dans le Lower Manhattan, j’attendais un taxi jaune, sous la pluie. Une vieille chanson de TELEVISION « Marquee Moon » me cogne dans la tête. Avant de venir dans cette ville je la connaissais déjà grâce à Lou Reed, Patti Smith et les dizaines d’écrivains américains. J’aime m’y perdre et aimer. J’y suis toujours bien. Chaque geste, chaque pose deviennent romantiques et poétiques. Je ne sais toujours pas pourquoi mais j’aime ça.
It is one of my next painting on which I work. It is called RAIN ONE NYC. In the street, in Lower Manhattan, I awaited a yellow cab, under the rain. An old song of TELEVISION "Marquee Moon" knocks in my head. Before coming in this city, I knew it already, thanks to Lou Reed, Patti Smith and tens of American writers. I like to lose myself and to love. I feel there always good. Each gesture, each installation become romantic and poetic. I still do not know why but I like it.
