CLOUD CULT

La scène indie mondiale a explosé dans pleins de directions qui vont du post-punk jusqu'à l’expérimental le plus radical avec pour résultat une diversité sensationnelle pour les fans de bonne musique.
Ce groupe de Minneapolis (quand j’entends le nom de cette ville je pense à Prince, à Purple Rain !), CLOUD CULT est dans la veine de l’exploration avec cet album intitulé Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes).
Déjà bravo pour le visuel, le titre et le nom du groupe !
Et la musique, c’est BECK rejoignant FLAMING LIPS !
C’est un groupe génial, inventif courageux dans le circuit depuis 1990.
Il y a la une vraie richesse mélodique et beaucoup de poésie dans leur univers.
C’est une très, très grosse surprise à écouter absolument !

It is a brilliant, inventive group courageous in the circuit since 1990.
There is the one true melody richness and much of poetry in their universe. It is one very, very big surprised to listen absolument!

CUNNINGLYNGUIST Dirty Acres

Ils viennent d'Atlanta, c'est le rap moderne, dans le même esprit qu'Andre Nickatina mélangé à un peu d' OutKast. Ils s'appellent Kno et Deacon et sont passés du statut de backpackers au statut de maître renversant du son moite et organique. Cet album "Dirty Acres", ce titre, c'est excellent à ne pas éviter! c'est recommandé par dAKOTA, le même qui écoute LOW, YES, VELVET UNDERGROUND, JOSEPH ARTHUR, MERCURY REV, SIBELIUS, BASHUNG, CAMERA OBSCURA, MEGADETH etc...

They come from Atlanta, this is modern rap, in the same spirit as Andre Nickatina mixed with OutKast. They named Kno and Deacon and passed from the statut of backpackers to the statut of Master of the reversing the moist and organic sound. Andre NICKATINA Conversation With A Devil

André Nickatina, connu aussi sous le doux sobriquet de Dre Dog, est l'un des artistes surprenant de la région de Bay Area. C'est un mélange urbain un peu déjanté et désenchanté avec un esprit hyppie. C'est bien sur du rap. Oui, dAKOTA écoute du rap?!! J'ai adoré le film GHOST DOG autant par le jeu de l'acteur Forest Whitaker que pour la bande son. Et là, c'est le choc, je retrouve quelque chose de très très fort avec une atmosphère à couper au couteau. Les paroles sont du niveau d'un jeune LOU REED. Ce disque devrait être interdit de diffusion, il est trop subversif! Et là je me retrouve et j'aime la musique elle me donne l'inspiration. Essayez-le comme si un copain vous prétait une vieille moto anglaise nommée SUZY Q un jour de grand soleil!

Andre Nickatina, known also under the soft nickname of DRE Dog, is for me a new one of the artists of the Bay Area. This is an urban mix a bit amazing and disillusioned with a hyppie spirit. It is of course rap. Oui, dAKOTA listens to rap?!! I adored the movie GHOST DOG as much by the play of the actor Forest Whitaker and for the soundtrack. And there, this is the shock, I find something of very very extrem on the edge of the razor. The lyrics are at the level of a young Lou Reed, himself. This disc should be prohibited of diffusion, it is too subversive! And there I find myself and I like the music it gives me the inspiration. Test it as if a buddy give you an old named English motor bike SUZY Q by a beautiful sunny day at the seashore!

Enfin un nouveau Black Sabbath !
C’est plus qu’un hommage à Ozzy and Co. C’est une vraie renaissance du vintage rock avec des accents des meilleurs PINK FLOYD ! Quand ils étaient délirants et ne roulaient pas encore en Jaguar.
C’est brut, rugueux, mal-élevé et pleins de bonnes vieilles mélodies !
A découvrir absolument !
