OBITS I blame you

J'ai lu un papier incroyable dans mon magazine de rock préféré (depuis déjà 30 ans, quelle fidélité!) sur ce groupe américain. Comme je suis curieux j'ai glissé une oreille et j'avoue que j'ai trouvé ça vraiment bien. C'est une espèce de rockabilly punky énergique hyper clean. C'est vrai que je ne crois pas avoir écouté ce genre de musique depuis certains passages de SANDINISTA par les CLASH!
''I blame you'' laisse entrevoir des moments presque pops, voire surf, tout en faisant référence au rock alternatif des années quatre-vingt-dix à la Sonic Youth alors, tenté l'expérience!!!

New post-hardcore rockabilly punk band featuring Rick Froberg (Pitchfork, Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes). Released through Sub Pop last week, Obits have produced a stripped bare record full of classic sounding guitar lines. ''I Blame You'' is a great rock record that should suitably feature in the end of year lists. I play it all the day long it gives me energy to paint as a working class hero (it is something to be!).

Dan COOMBS

J'ai eu la chance de voir en vrai et en live les derniers travaux de Dan COOMBS à Londres à la galerie FRED!

Ses sujets et ses compositions ont une étrange esthétique. Il y a incorporé des objets et des collages. Ces petits collages, des illustrations trouvées ou bien des photographies, sont posés au milieu de paysages fantastiques et d'intérieurs vertigineux.

C'est de la poêsie avec parfois une évocation incantatoire ou religieuse.

I was so luky to see in truth and live the last works of Dan COOMBS in London at the FRED Gallery! Its subjects and its compositions have a strange esthetics. It incorporated objects and collages. These small collages, part of illustrations or some photos, are sticked in the middle of some fantastic landscapes or vertiginous interiors.

It is poetry with sometimes an evocation spell-binding or mystic.

ARCHIVE Controlling crowds

Le style musical qu'emprunte Archive est né avec le trip hop sur les deux premier albums. Désormais, le groupe propose une superbe musique fusionnant l'électro au progressif, au rock et à l'ambient.

Archive are a Rock band collective, originating from London, UK, but based in Paris, France for many years where they enjoy a much bigger following. They are signed to Warner Music France.Archive was formed by Londoners Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths in 1994 and began as an eltronica project. At the beginning, they mixed Bristol-style like Massive Attack. The first album of the band, Londinium so perfect in 1996 (with Roya Arab and Rosko John as guest vocalists).
Rosko John is back in the band for this record so , let's go!!!

FILTER the very best things

Hello à tous, je suis rentré de LONDRES la semaine dernière. Depuis je bosse comme un fou. Pour me détendre et retrouver de la force je me suis cherché un peu de rock qui déménage et voilà un best of de FILTER!

C'est du bon du raide et ce groupe est un peu trop sous estimé, n'est ce pas?

C'est quand même le groupe qui a sortis ''Hey man, nice shot''!

et puis le design est toujours aussi efficace!

Hello my friends I returned from LONDON last week and since I work like a crazy man also to slacken me and find force I sought myself a little rock'n'roll which moves and here is a best of of . it is a good stuff and this group -estimated make it so ggod no? it is nevertheless the band which have made' ' Hey man, Nice shot' '!

and then the design of the sleeve is always great!
